This is the intersection of US 62/US 127 Bypass, looking southwest. It's interesting, because West Park Shopping center was not built yet (lower left corner). The Chevrolet dealership was stocked up on new trucks (upper left corner). Out of view is the new IGA grocery store (upper right corner). And the Anderson County High School is out of view also (lower right corner). Really cool picture. That stretch of the US 127 Bypass carries over 20,000 vehicles per day as of 2017.
Jenkins Chevrolet in the background. The restaurant in the foreground was converted into a bank sometime in the 80s and is still used as such today.
