Bobby Joe & Carol (Mitchell) Pearson's home, built in 1976 and where they still live to this day (January 2017). No matter where I live the rest of my life, this will always be home.

This photo faces southeast toward the valley below (US Hwy 1163). The plane appears to have approached the house directly from Leigh's Chapel Church. Clearly visible are the manmade pond behind the house, the old tobacco barn near the top-middle of the frame that still stands, bottom-right the "new" red barn (bottom-right) that was built near the same time as the house. That also looks like a picnic table under the big oak tree near the top-right of the photo, overlooking the valley. You can see the artificial earthen berm at the bottom of the hill (top-right).

The only major change you would see from this angle now would be the addition of an extended concrete pad and large shed to house an RV.
