Boutlier Homstead in Oakfield

My grandparents home. Now my uncle and aunt live there.

Dan this is not the Boutilier homestead, our barn was on the other side of road, the one that is there my father had it built many years after the old one fell down and our milk house was on other side and was not flush with barn, now for house our porch was not all the way around kitchen , it is the same as is today and was not closed in until often we bought the school house and turned into hardware,We had to replace a window in a lg home and co. Said to do what ever we wanted to do with old one, they did not want it returned just replaced so Cecil and Waldo took window and put on My parents porch with other windows out of the old shed that hardware had our door went into front not the end , of course because There was not a porch own that side , but can see why would would thin it was our home place ,we did have a wood shed on back but never was painted, was just rough and natural..now I am wondering who's place this is.

Another hint, notice trees in front , we had no trees in front just a big maple tree on side . Actually our barn was down at bottom of hill and milk house jetted out on other side and back of barn was down the hill to lake, this land in back of barn is flat. We had a big ice house in back of barn also. House was in dire need of paint when I was growing up and Dale had the siding put on after he moved there. Our porch was on only front of kitchen and had railing around Back when this picture was taken. Love to know who's house this is because it really looks a lot like ours but back when our house think there was a lot used the same design.

My Apologies I would have sworn this is the House Dale and Marlene Boutlier are living in

Easy mistake, I had to look twice to see it wasn't the home place.

So this isn't the house that Frank and Mona Boutilier lived in?

this homestead belonged to Ray Brown and in later years by Leland his son. You will notice the outlet of Spaulding lake upper photo.
