The Long Farm. My grandparents Charles and Edith Long owned this farm and raised 4 boys, Herbert (my dad), Leonard, James and Cecil.

Bangor Road, Houlton

My Aunt married Leonard Long and lived there with their three children.

I lived on the farm next door. Charles long / was my uncle. All that's left is the house.

Nickerson Lake Rd used to hit the Bangor Rd at this point. It obviously had been rerouted years before this picture but the potato rows still end where the road ran and you can make out parts of the old road that I remember going over on the school bus.

I went to school with Blake Long who grew up in this house.

I Married Cecil Long. He loved living in this house. The barn burned down in Oct. 1977. This house was always a show place.
