George Britton farm on East (Britton) Road in Monticello Maine
This was before the barn was built and before the other house across the lawn. This is my family's farm house and I'm a Britton.
The Britton Road school was below this house on the flat before the hill on the left hand side of the road. The school was still there in 1941; that year they started sending the kids to school downtown. Dean Folsom attended the Britton Road School and jioined my mother's 8th grade class in 1941.
This house used to be on the hill up the road from where the dead water pond is now.
