My Great Grandparents Hussey owned this home late 1800's
Then Their daughter ( my grandmother) Madeline and Hume Pierce
Owned it until early 1980's? When my Uncle Wendell Pierce became owner

This house was built by Batcheldor Hussey in 1903.There was a big orchard to the south of the house. One of hi is daughters ,Madeline married Hume Pierce, they lived there after they bought it from her brother Fred. Fred rebuilt the garage beside it into a house and lived there with his wife the rest of his life. Then the Jack Harvath family lived there. Their son, Rick, did have a barber shop there for a time. The house barely visible is my Fathers and Mothers house (Sylvanus and Sybil Pierce) where my sister Sharyl and I grew up. Mom still lives there. It was moved there from Westfield in the late 40's .

played in that junk yard as a small child. beautiful old house. the shop way in the back was my cousin's hot rod shop in mid sixtys. we used to slide behind the house all the way to nutter street on good crust. spent a lot of time here great ones.
