Chum McHugh farm on Clark Hill, Ashby Road Presque Isle.

Currently the home of the Robinson family and Critter Hill Kennel - http://critterhillkennel.com/

Grew up here

This is my family homestead, built in 1935 by my maternal grandparents, Atwood and Mildred Clark. They farmed and raised their 3 children, Gerald, Vaughn and Barbara. In 1966 they retired and sold it to my dad, Clarence (Chum) and mom, Barbara. Dad improved and expanded the farm, added a stable of horses but died at age 33 in 1969. Sadly, in those days if you were financed by FHA (Dad had just built a state of the art potato house), you lost everything, including your home. My mother and us 5 children moved into Presque Isle. Life there was the best ever!!!!!!
