Colby Siding Road, Woodland ME an Anderson home. I grew up next door in the old Pratt House on the corner of the Colby Siding Rd and Pratt Road.

Marvin Anderson Farm. My mother used to pick potatoes for him.

My great aunt Dolly lived here with her husband Marvin. I remember my aunts going to visit their aunt Dolly. They always had a great time. They laughed and carried on for hours when they came back home.

The potato house, tool shed, and hen pen are gone now. Tom Anderson lives there now,(his parents farm).
There were cows, chickens, cats, and always a dog at grammy's house. I picked potatoes, picked rocks, and loaded hay there. We drank raw milk and ate fresh eggs. buckwheat pancakes, fried eggs, potatoes and beans. Special occasions we had raised doughnuts and molasses cookies. Under the maple trees there was a red lawn swing, warm afternoons the shade and swing were a welcome resting place. Hard work, good memories, I even has a pony here.
