This is on the Davis Road, Woodland.....the Blackstone Homestead for many years.
This was my Grandfather's farm, Duncan Haines. Then later my
parent's farm, Bennie & Ida Haines. My dad built the barn & shop.
He sold it to the Blackstones back in 1945.
We moved to Caribou to farm on the Sweden Rd.
When visiting Maine this summer we notice the barn has been torn down.
