Hamlin, ME. Rudolph Parent Farm

This is my grandparents' home, and easily one of my favorite places to be! Where the potato field used to be (on the lower right hand side of the photo) is now my grandparents' yard, and right behind the house includes 3 potato houses and 2 grain silos, and a whole lot of memories during past potato harvests! The "shop" now, replaces the little shed towards the center of the photo, right on top of the little hill before going on the "home farm." The big red barn is still standing strong, and that is where I took some of my senior pictures! The building behind the barn is no longer there, but on the left side of the barn, is a shelter for tractors and the planter. The non-brick section of the house (in front of the car) has changed for the third time. The brick part, though over a century old, is still standing strong, despite many generations of children and grandchildren (including myself) running around the halls, playing hide-and-seek and tag! There have been so many great memories in this home, and I'm intrigued by all of the history behind it! I love this place!
