This was my Grand-Parents, Chester and Elizabeth Rafford's farm on the Garfield Road, Garfield Plantation. I grew up here and started school at the one room school house in Garfield where my Grand-Mother was a teacher.

That was the home of Chester and Elizabeth Rafford on the back Garfield Rd in Garfield Plantation, ME. He died in 1952, just 6 months after I was born. She passed in the 80's. They were my grandparents. She was a school teacher, grade 5, in the Ashland Central School in Ashland, ME. The barn is gone and the house has been replaced by my cousin and his wife. My cousin passed away also.
