I think this might be where Dead River (the old Mars Hill Oil Company) is.

Possibly Pete Irvin's Lumber Company originally, with Pete Irvin living up behind on the hill. Think it was an Esso and Exxon before Mars Hill Oil.

Main Street Mars Hill/Blaine town line

We lived to the left of Irvin’s lumber in the late 50s. Skied on that hill with Pete Irvin jr. He had an older sister Nancy. Friends with Brent and Lana Hammond and the Stithams up on ACI street. There used to be a chicken hatchery up from Irving’s. Marston Boyd worked there. A life time ago. Great memories growing up in Blaine and MarsHill.
