this was the mill agent's house for the American woolen co. across the street. the main house was built 1847 but theres a smaller house inside this house that predates this.the large bur oak on the right side of picture is the largest in the state of maine, over 16 ft. around at 4' above ground and over 100' tall. also any standard bread horse in north America are all tied to this place, the lang's imported them from Europe in the 1850's + -
