The Esso gas station (in the center) is now used by D&S Auto Sales. The building barely visible at the left edge is now Winslow Automotive & Tire.

The gas Station on the bottom of the picture is now Cumberland Farms

Cassidy's Market is to the left of the gas station. Next to it on the left was formerly Bill's Tire.

Bee's Diner is across the road to the right side on Lithgow Street.

This is the Augusta Road, just south of the Winslow Bridge which crossed the Sebasticook River. The building just left of center was Cassidy's Market (as identified by Mr. Poulin); it was owned by my grandparents for many years. The building at the top of the photo was an apartment building, where my family lived until 1958.
The gas station at the bottom of the photo was a Chevron station. At the lower left corner there are gas pumps visible: this was a Mobil gas station. At center left (left of Cassidy's Market) was a Texaco gas station. This was definitely Winslow's "gasoline alley", with four stations all within about 50 yards of each other.

Others have identified many of the buildings here, at the corner of modern day Augusta and China Road, in Winslow, ME.

Starting at the far right, next to the bridge is Bee's Diner/ Snack Bar, still in operation today though the building has changed.
The Chevron station at the bottom center is today a Cumberland Farms gas station.
The Esso station at the center has had a few uses. After its life as a gas station it served as D&S Auto Sales until the early 2010s, when it became Maine Avenue Auto Sales. Sometime around 2020 the building changed again, becoming Ken's Food Truck.
The former apartment building across the railroad tracks had been turned into a furniture warehouse by the mid-2000s. By the 2010s it was in a state of disrepair, and was torn down by 2018.
The former Cassidy's Market building to the left of the Esso was torn down sometime prior to 2000.
At the farthest left is a former Texaco station, which had become Winslow Automotive & Tire by the 2000s. By the 2020s the business had changed names to Winslow Towing & Repair.
