Lakes Region Apartments, formerly White Owl Motel, RT 3 China

As the visitor above mentioned, this is the Lakes Region Apartments, located at 163 ME-3/US-202, China, ME. Once known as the White Owl Motel. The overall structure looks much the same, but has been updated through the years. It's hard to tell if the roof was flat or hipped in this photo, though it is hipped today. A storage building was built at the far left of the parking lot prior to 2007, and the name had changed to the Lakes Region Apartments by then. The trees in the central grassy area were allowed to grow, though recent windstorms toppled several on the right side. Within the last few years the roof was replaced with a new metal one.
