This is the farm where I grew up with many good memories. Until 1950 it was known as the Wilson Lowe Farm. In 1950 my grandfather Joseph Emery and my father Enoch Emery purchased the farm and put up the two silos in the picture. They sold the farm in 1963 and bought the house back with one acre and never moved. I bought the farm back in 1970 and ran the dairy farm until 1976.The barn and land was then sold to Ralph and Rebecca Clifford. Their sons were the last ones to milk cows there. The barn was torn down a few years ago. The small building across the road was taken down when the road was rebuilt in the early 1970'S. The only out buildings remaining are the milk room and the silos. The house belongs to a different owner and has been changed. The small building across the road was built as the blacksmith shop. The farm is located on Route#201 now known as Skowhegan Road across from Lyman'S Farm Store.
