This is the present day location of Loons Cove Golf Course on Rte 201, Skowhegan, Maine. The house was built back in the 1920s by Mr. John "Turney" Moore for he and his bride, Judy. The house still sits on the property, but has been moved so that the front of the house faces the lovely cove. The barn still stands, but the milking parlor has long been razed.
This is the present day site of Loon Cove Golf Course in Skowhegan, Maine. The smaller farm buildings to the right of the barn have been torn down. The house, which was built by Mr. John "Turney" Moore, was resituated on the property so that the front of the house now faces the cove. Back in the 70s, the farm was owned by the Mr. James Kurtz family. I used to work for their son, Jimmy, during haying season.
