This farm is located on Route 201 just South of Solon and was owned by my grandfather, Elmer French. He had a few cattle, chickens and pigs. He also had big gardens and sold vegetables. I have been told that he went to Jackman selling vegetables. My brothers and I would also help him hay those fields every summer. Our family lived just below this farm and I have fond memories playing in and around that old barn. Presently owned by Ann Whitney Padham.
