Eddie and Vera Dyer's home. They owned and ran the Sail Inn Restaurant until the State took it by eminent domain when the new Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory was built in 2006.

After Maine DOT construction of the new Penobscot Narrows Bridge, the state tore down the restaurant, keeping the property, but sold the former Dyer's House, which is still standing. The smaller white building was removed, and a new garage constructed next to the house.
