This is where I grew up on the Howard rd in Belmont, me
You ask "What has changed?" This was taken two years before we moved here in 1966. It had been gutted by fire, and over the many years, has become a comfortable home. I am a historical researcher, and I figure that the house was built about 1820. Another thing that has changed, is that the three-way road in front of the house is now all paved. The open land across the rural road is now filled with homes. Fifty years changes landscapes as much as it ages people. We raised seven children on this old farm. Some of the buildings are gone, but the barn has been completely restored. I know that you sell these photos, I purchased a copy, but as a historian, it would be nice if we had access to the other photos of our town and local towns. God bless,
