This home was rebuilt and owned by Ward and Edith (Pashagoba) Bondie. It is located in an area called "Indian Corners", because of the large group of Indian families that owned and resided in the area. Edith Bondie's grandfather, known as "Indian Jim" Pashagoba, originally lived in a small home where the new home stands. Indian Jim's death certificate claims he was 111 years old when he died. Ward and Edith tore down the old house, saving and reusing every board and nail, sleeping in their volkswagen at night, and cooking their meals over an open fire in the driveway, and rebuilt the home that stands there today. The home is owned by Ward and Edith's grandson, John Abbott.
