Initially, this building was owned by Lou and Hazlett Kramer and housed the Joy Gift Shop, Lou Kramer Realty and the Paul Bunyon Drive-in Theater. Lou was one of the founding members of the Hubbard Lake volunteer fire department, and Hazlett was awarded as being the longest standing member of the American Red Cross. They were both very active stewards of the community! This is the current location of the Caledonia Branch of the Alcona County Library and residential rentals, and is owned by John Abbott.
