This is the property my parents got as a wedding gift from my great grandfather Benjamin. Parents tried rehabbing the house before they built the house in the next shot. Our horses were pastured behind this house,and they made wonderful trails to follow. We played in an old silo foundation to the north,dug treasure from the stream behind, made forts in the old hay barn foundation to the south, and caught the school bus with cousins and neighbor kids (Keith's). The entire south wing of this house,including the fantastic front porch, have been removed. A hideous addition is on the north. Perhaps the current owners will see this photo and decide to return to it its former charm.
