There were many more small farms back then, there were 3 fair sized dairy farms within 2 miles of our place . We grew up across the street from our grandparents Van Horn, and about 2 miles from our grandparents Morris. My brother Jim made quite a long comment on the photo of our grandparents place across the street in October.
