My grandparents farm. The barn is torn down. They grew and sold vegetables there. The building behind the house is the pickle dock, I put in long days working there. Farmers would bring their pickles there to sell, we would sort them and weigh them, then pay the farmer what they were worth. I would stand at the machine and pick out the curved and rotten ones before they went in to the sorting part of the machine.

This was the Lawrence Farm of Steve and Helen. The large Dobson barn is gone, we tore it down i think in mid to late 70's, also the migrant quarters that was out behind the small barn out back is gone in the picture. We spent many a summer either on the pickle dock working or out in the fields helping grandparents with the crops. I personally learned a lot from them about produce. I still to this day try to impart some of the knowledge to others. Now all the buildings are gone, the house due to a fire.
