Much of my childhood was spent at my grandparents farm
Yes I have a connection to this photo. This was my Grandparents farm and I have memories of playing ball in the yard and also playing in the hay mow and swing on the rope in the barn. My use to plant potatoes and we would have dig them up and bag them. The last we dug potatoes we where knee deep in mud.
I do know since this photo was taken the barn has been torn down and a pole building put in it's place. I also believe the other the corn crib and chicken coop and pig pen have also been torn down too.
My family moved here sometime after 1986 (when I was born). The barn blew down in a storm and the pole barn was built to replace it. The chicken coop had a tree fall on it. It was really interesting to see your connections!
I have often thought about going back to this house just to see the changes that have been made. But I'm not sure what the property owners would think.
