This used to be a furniture store located on the South side of Midland road between Garfield and Franklin. My childhood home is hidden behind the large willow tree in the far right of the photo. The grassy area in the upper right served as the neighborhood baseball field - you can't see the chicken-wire backstop fence. I remember kids making a snowman so big it took 3 or 4 kids to roll the bottom snowball.

This is where the Auto parts store is. The Auburn Kar Kleen went in next door to the east.
