There's a lot to see in this photo. The Sunoco station building in the center is now used by H&R Block, CareLinc and a Subway restaurant. It appears they kept the cupola on the roof after the new building makeover which was a nice touch. The small building across the street to the right was Jerry's A&W rootbeer stand, which is now a Ponderosa Steakhouse restaurant. A Ford auto dealer is across US-12 and is still a Ford dealership. The empty lot to the left of the Sunoco station is where they built the Penguin Point restaurant. The house to the left of the empty lot ended up being sandwiched between the Penguin Point restaurant and the McDonald's restaurant that was built about 1972 or 1973. McDonalds bought the house and removed it to expand their parking lot.
