General store. California Corners, south of Quincy, Michigan. Southwest corner South Ray Quincy and Copeland roads. Building was torn down.

Bretz's General Store.

So this was Victor & Hazel Brett’s store. They lived in the little house to the south of this building. Their Daughter Sue married Noel Stetler who was my Dads best friend. My grandparents died when I was born and Vic stepped in and treated me like one of his own Grandchildren. Myself and the Stetler children Shawn & Brad have such wonderful memories of growing up here. It’s a shame it’s all gone but the little house. It will all live on in the memories of all us grandchildren.
