This was once the very busy intersection of US-12 (lower right) and M-9 (lower left). M-9 is presently M-99.
Today, this is the intersection of Finley Rd. (lower right) and Dobbins Drive (lower left).
The entrance to the Albion Drive-In theater angles upward, at the upper left.
The unusual dual signage of the Marathon Oil Company is because (out of view, to the left) Business Route I-94 curves from the north and heads southwest. This was the first thing motorists saw when exiting the newly-built I-94 expressway, which perhaps warranted the cost of the extra signage.
The outdoor service bay is probably from the 1920s or 30s.
Hopefully, an old-timer from Albion can add some better color to this photo.
