Everything has changed! The original barn is gone along with the surrounding barns and the silo. A house was built on the foundation of that barn. (The house burned about 4 years ago) The rubble of the burned house is still there (no clean up was done) The old farm house was torn down and a new house was built in it's place. The partial pole barn was finished and used for many, many years but caught on fire about 1999. There was a different two story garage/barn built in place of the pole barn. About 1986 there were grain bins/ elevator/ dryer system installed behind the pole barn, north of the grain bins there was a 40 x 120 pole barn built, a 20,000 gal LP Gas tank installed along with a small building for filling small LP gas cylinders. Eventually a LP Gas company was run from this location. As of today March 10, 2024 the house has been empty for about 2 years and all of the farm machinery has not been in operation for about 4 to 5 years. At one time it was a very prosperous farm but once the older generation quit farming and passed away it was let go and not taken care of.
