My husband and I bought this home from the Bower family in 1987. We planted MANY trees surrounding the house. The pool is gone and we added a deck onto the side and along the back of the house. We also dug a pond just off the front sidewalk and second one below that near the bottom of the hill with water pumped from the pond below to the pond abov with a "stream" between the two and a huge boulder we excavated from my dads house in Bath, MI serving as a drop off for the stream.
