A cousin of mine shared this post. It is the home of my deceased Grandfather's brother and wife George and Alberta Harris and my Great Grandmother, Marie Ti Qui Harris, who fled to America from China in the early 1900's. It is STILL in the family. Surely over these several decades things have changed, but certainly the memories made there have been locked in the most cherished in all of our family members who have shared time under it's roof and on it's beautiful property.

My Grandfather, David James Harris was married to Betty Jane Priest formerly of Kalamazoo. They resided in Eaton Rapids until his untimely and very unexpected death at a very young age. I always hoped to meet and talk to people who knew either of my grandparents from this time period as my Grandmother remarried and moved to the Upper Peninsula and most connections were lost over time to her home town, friends and history.
