A lot of great memories with Lon & Fonda. Vacationing, visiting, hunting, fishing, touring the woods by golf cart...motorcycle...nice, peaceful, relaxing, fun. Tubing down the river. Family picnics/cookouts at Lon's & Fonda's, and at mom Ricky's farm. For the most part, just calm simple restful times. Where my wife (Cheryl) grew up. Where my wife and I lived for about a year back in the rustic cabin (which was probably the best times of our lives, then and since. Where we loved living on the farm with my mother-in-law (Cheri's mom) and I helped operate the Dairy Farm. What has changed in the past 34 years is....that there is no more of those times. All families have separated....gone their own ways (for one reason or another (whether good or bad)....'NOTHING', is even remotely what it was at one time. Not mood, not family, not anything.
