we purchased this house in 1992 from the Snyder family. It was built in 1929 by the Wurm brothers according to a hand written note on a board in the attic of the porch. The lumber was obtained from Kingsley lumber with the shakes showing Canada origins. Was completely covered in cedar shakes, including the roof. There was another house on the site before this one. Three of those apple trees are still standing and produce apples. The large barn was gone before we purchased.
