This was originally a house owned by the Darga family. A baby was buried in the front yard and a lilac bush planted as a marker as the father was away at the civil war. Rumors of it being haunted persist.
It was later owned by the Peterson’s, then Tigard, the Nelson (us), and now Koesters.
We built our home on what was an orchard in this picture to the north, left, of this home.
