My grandfather, Frances Foster owned this farm from the 1920's until my grandmother Luella Foster died in 1979. He grew cash crops as well as raising beef and dairy cattle. My father, Kermit Foster grew up on the family farm. Today the barn is gone and the old farm house has been renovated and has changed significantly. There was a large wooden swing that hung between the two large
trees to the right of the house that I enjoyed as a child. Those trees are still standing today, as well as the old cable where the swing was.
