this grain complex starting going up in the mid 70's, the large silos were first, in the 80's [i think] the andersons grain company from maumee ohio bought the complex and started expanding. this complex went up on what was the waylon jason farm in the 50's & 60's and was across and down the road from farm house i grew up in. in the 80's the village of webberville bought what was left of the ed look farm and part of the hawley farm and made a industrial center, several car parts companies operate there now.
