This is the Calvin Hiller property, on RR#3 Tupper Lake Road, Lake Odessa, Mi. 48849. The property has been in the same family sine 1857, and some old acreage is still in the family.The homestead, shown here, was bought out and demolished in the mid 1980's, by the city of Lake Odessa, for sewer treatment. Two buildings were moved a proximate 1/2 mi. east, the two story, hip roof garage (directly behind house) and the grainery, to the right of the house, under the trees.
Property was originally purchased by Catherine Sindlinger Hiller, on arrival from Germany with her 6 children. She is buried in Lakeside Cemetary, Lake Odessa, Mi.
