My grandparents Edward & Johanna Osenga bought this 80 acres in 1950. It was sold in 1980 after they both had passed away. Originally there was a larger barn as well. The tool shed on the right was a grainery that we moved from behind the Willow Tree. The three hole outhouse next to the barn was between the house & Willow. All of this is now gone. A newer house and commercial pole barn stand there now, but as of 2021, 77 acres is still prime farmland behind it. I have good memories of playing in the barns with my 30 cousins and baling hay for the Angus beef & Holstein milkers grandpa raised.
