This looks to me, like the old Arthur Smith farm on David Hwy. a 'few' miles east of Saranac, Mi.
Home was built by Thomas Hartwell, sold to Ray Gates and Mark Gates, then Arthur and Mary Smith in 1943. Owned by Smith family until 1997.
