Our family (David and Ruth Divine) bought this farm in 1976 and it was sold around 2006. So many memories here, especially of the lilac bushes in the front. I would fill every room in the house with bouquets of white, light and dark purple and the scent of lilacs filled our home. We enjoyed the apple, pear and cherry trees that were planted before we moved there. Asparagus grew wild along the fence line to the west and we would gather as much as we could each year, sometimes eating it all before we got back to the house. The chicken coup has been gone for many years and the new owners have built onto the home as well as building another out-building. The barn has been photographed by many people and was even included in a magazine, I believe it was Country Living.
