This is my house at 5353 W David Hwy. I’m the 3rd owner and bought it from Karen (Bob) Ida in 2009 who lived here for 32 years and it was built in 1972 by Mr & Mrs Ronald R Watson. I have the original blueprints. The house roof was subsequently peaked and the barn enlarged to 40x60 in about 2003 by Karen after Bob died, and there are now many mature trees around it. It’s no longer crop farmed, but has pastures, hayfield, a large veggie garden and a hoophouse.

Thanks for all the information. The location you pinned does not have a barn. Was it eventually taken down?

We call it the shed, it’s a 40x60 double story barn, my milk parlour is in the lower barn, but has siding, not a traditional wooden one. The photo above shows the original smaller structure which was enlarged to the current size, to the right of the house, with the white roof.
