Photo 122-ZIS-15

Comments

I grew up on this farm during the 1940s and 1950s. My parents purchased this farm in 1943. When my parents passed away, the acreage was sold to neighbors while the house and four acres was sold to a young couple. I have corrected the location of the farm on the map. It is at the corner of Deja Road and North County Line Road. The road at the top edge of the picture is North County Line Road, which separates Isabella and Montcalm counties. The road in front of the house is Deja Road. Deja is pronounced Dee Jay not da zha as in deja vu.
Changes: two more out buildings were added to the one shown; the barn is gone; the fuel tank near the bush is gone; Deja Road is now paved with asphalt.
