8275 East V Avenue (house), Vicksburg.

This is the house that I grew up in. My parents purchased it in 1974, just a few months before I started Kindergarten. By the time that they purchased it, the cars in the field were all gone. Field with overgrown with tall grass. Rumor has it that some of the cars are buried back there. When I was a kid we used to heat back through the field to the woods, and there were the remnants of a bread truck up against a tree. As of September 2023, my father still owns and lives in the house. He turns 86 next month.

Hi Kristi, thank you for sharing your memories of the house you grew up in! It's fascinating to hear about the cars in the field and the bread truck by the woods. Did your family do any farming on the property? We'd love to learn more about the area and your experiences.
