Photo 2-OLA-23

This farm was bought by my great grandpa in 1914. I grew up on this farm my whole life. Now I work on this farm with my wife and grandparents. Since this photo the middle left barn has been removed and replaced with a new 40x64 pole barn that houses dry cows and close to calve heifers. The bottom left barn has been relocated across the road and a greenhouse that now houses Calves to be raised as replacements was built in its place. These calves are used to expand the milking herd that is housed in the barn next to the silos. The house in the center of the picture has been demolished because of the disrepair of it. It is now a parking spot for employees and equipment. The right two silos have been heightened and a fifth one added. The propane tank has been moved next to the now demolished house. This farm has had many employees and lots of memories made. I hope to raise my kids on this farm in the future.
