My parents, James and Mary Wright farm at 9446 Kelch Road. Farm was purchased in 1942 from James' grandmother, Agatha Wright, for $3,000. I spent the first 19 years of my life there and have many fond memories. Still, as a 70-year-old woman, I often go there in my dreams. My parents sold the farm in 1968 to Jerry Marlow. That is the first time, to my knowledge, that the farm had ever been out of family hands since it was built in the late 1800s.
