This was my maternal grandparents' farm. My mom grew up here, and I spent many happy times here as well. After my grandparents, Herbert and Nellie Owen died, their son, Leslie Owen and daughter, Marie Owen lived here until their deaths. When this picture was taken, it would have been Leslie and Marie who were living there. I loved this farm. It was a Michigan Centennial Farm, but was sold out of the family after Marie Owen died in 1998. "Bert" and Nellie had 5 other children: Lloyd,Clifford,Donald,Willis, Gladys and Barbara (my mom).
