Kahler farm on Bates road, across from Werths' and just north of Hummel farm. It is gone now, torn down around 10 years or so after Ruth Kahler died (in 1992). Some of us still remember the neighborhood. Ruth's peonies still survive. Before this house was built ca. 1918, it was a log cabin. Ruth showed me the picture from when it was built.
