Torn in the late 1990s or early 2000s for a large shopping center.
30 Mile Rd and Van Dyke. Where the house stood now is a small bank. Where the small business lot stood, became a video rental store (Hollywood Video). The rental store expanded into game sales (GameCrazy). When the financial crisis hit and as video game rentals declined in 2009/2010, the building was sold and eventually became an O'Reilly's Auto store. For the past 17 or 20 years, this corner (south east of 30 Mile and Van Dyke Avenue) has become a strip mall for the Romeo community. Kroger Marketplace is the stand-out.
